Question:  Can students in K - 5 check-out books?

Answer:  At this time, the topic was discussed by Mrs. Hardie, Mr. Dodge, and Ms. Grenier and the decision was made to not check-out to students in grades K-5.  However, MS and HS are checking out.  For MS and HS, items are being exchanged via Door #9.  For more information please contact Mrs. Tooley and/or Mrs. Dodge.  Also, Mrs. Muller shared you can still check out at Leach Library.  

 

Question:  Can families return books they had checked out?

Answer:  Absolutely!  There is a lime green crate by the front entry of the Elementary office.  We are in the process of providing a red crate for Patti at Zimmerman also.

 

Question:  How do students keep reading when they can't physically access books?

Answer:   Multiple vendors have opened up free resources at this time of social distancing.  Online resources have been gathered on the NEWLY created Library Web page along with usernames and passwords as applicable.  Note this is not the Library page from prior.

 

Question:  Where is the newly created library web page?

Answer:  Go to the Wahpeton Public School District home page at https://www.wahpeton.k12.nd.us/  and select Wahpeton Elementary – Home page from Our Schools drop down on the top of the page.  Select the Music, PE, Library option on the left hand side.  Once there select Library and open using the password provided on the site.
